You will dive deep into how culture impacts our mindset and how developing sensitivity will help the process of settling into the UK. You will look at key cultural values in the UK – where they come from and how they impact Brit life and communication.

Everyday Life UK

You will learn about different areas of British life including the healthcare and school system, geography, history and politics.  Also about what people do in their free time, and does everything really stop for tea at 4 o’ clock?!

Working Life UK

You will learn how to succeed in the British workplace in terms of leadership, meetings, negotiation and building trust. Communication styles and strategies are a key part of training – we’ll be looking at humour, the British understatement and how British people deliver sensitive feedback.
