Meet Vanessa Paisley

We may be globally connected these days doesn’t mean that we all have a global mindset and the tools needed to work effectively across cultures.

I have always loved looking at the world from different perspectives, taking all learning beyond the textbook out into the real world and challenging stereotypical thinking.

Having lived and worked abroad for 25 years and personally experiencing the challenges of culture shock and reverse culture shock, I am passionate about helping people to bridge cultural gaps.

The field of intercultural communication has been my professional home for almost 20 years, and I have been training clients in English and German across all levels of seniority in educational establishments and industry, including professional services, hotel and catering, technology, luxury travel, media and sport.

Before establishing a career in Intercultural Communication, I worked in radio journalism (Blue Danube Radio, Vienna), teaching English as a foreign language to top execs from all over the world, bilingual education design and translation (German to English).

In my corporate training, I regularly deliver country specific coaching for living and working in the UK. Other topics I look at are “Working with a Global Mindset” and “Cross-cultural Team-building”.
