English and Global Communication Learning Objectives

English as a Global Language

We will dive deep into how culture impacts language and communication. Through understanding your own communication style, you can then start to observe the communication styles of others. Good communication is the key to global success and it’s all about language AND culture!

Practical Tools

You will learn about different dimensions of culture and how communication styles overlap or differ from your own style of working and communication style. You will develop cultural agility in terms of your communication, practising with real-life examples that regularly cause misunderstandings in international teams. In this way you will become more confident when giving feedback across cultures and grow your resilience at the same time.

Excel & Advance your Cultural Intelligence

You will learn how to communicate successfully depending on the context and learn about presentations, negotiations and building rapport in an international setting. Through developing your “push & pull” competencies in communication, you will learn to navigate being flexible and building rapport with others, and at the same time understanding how clarity of communication is what will get you heard in international teams!  

Who Are These Sessions For?

This coaching is suitable for individuals who are good speakers of English but who would like to become more confident using English as a working language in an international setting.

This program consists of 10 x 1 hours of online training and requires completing The International Profiler prior to the training. Feedback and coaching will help you to identify and develop new skills and strategies when working across cultures so that you can really enjoy more international exposure.

As part of this training participants will receive a free Language for Global Agility toolkit for developing their cross-cultural communication.

It can also be delivered in an extended group format for global leaders and divided into shorter sessions.
